Course Description:

This course is designed to provide MoH Medical Physicists and Radiographers with a broad overview of Medical Physics and Radiation Protection. This course will provide its targeted audience with a breadth of knowledge in the field of radiation medicine.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, attendees should be able to:

  • demonstrate an understanding for the breadth of the field of medical physics and radiation protection.
  • differentiate between the various diagnostic and therapeutic applications of radiation in patient care.
  • relate to the various professionals who work in the various radiation medicine fields and their academic/professional backgrounds.
