14:30 – 15:00      : Review of SPECT/CT Quality Control and Acceptance Testing (NEMA); Refaat AlMazrou
15:00 – 15:30      : PET/CT Technology; Current Status and Future Advances; Craig Levin
16:00 – 17:00      : How to Optimize SPECT/CT Image Acquisition and Processing; Salem Sassi

Show & Tell and Practical Workshop (Mark Madsen, Salem Sassi and Refaat AlMazrou):

  • Performing Image Registration Accuracy and Attenuation Correction Accuracy Tests
  • Show & tell how to perform:
    • Extrinsic Uniformity Test
    • Extrinsic Resolution Test (Using the Bar Phantom)
    • Total Performance Test (Using Carlson/Jazack Phantom)

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this workshop, attendees should know:

  1. How to perform the Accuracy of Image Registration test
  2. How to perform the Accuracy of Attenuation Correction test
  3. How to perform the basic quality control procedures of the gamma camera
