Target Audience:     Radiographer, radiologic and nuclear medicine technologists, radiation therapists and educators   

Workshop Description:

This workshop is designed specifically for radiologic technologists, radiation therapists and educators. It will provide hands-on and practical “show and tell” type presentations and sessions with a focus on CT imaging, CT radiation dose and techniques.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, attendees should be able to:

    1. demonstrate an understanding for recent concerns on increased CT radiation dose and its implications.
    2. differentiate between the various imaging protocols and their optimal utility.
    3. Identify best practice methods of helping patients through CT scans.
