Course Aim

Through attendance at this course, registrants should obtain knowledge about the practical aspects of hypofrationated radiotherapy and radiosurgery. Principles of radiation physics , as they apply small volume irradiation will be covered. Registrants should be able to evaluate dose plans for selected body sites. At the completion of the course, participants should be able to discuss issues relevant to dose selection in individual patients and the spectrum of anticipated complications after hypofractionated treatment and their management.

Target Audience

This course aim at radiation oncologists, medical physicists, radiation therapists/radiographers, and neurosurgeons interested in stereotactic radiotherapy.
