Workshop Description

Show and tell workshop where participants will be walked-though step-by-step demonstration of all aspects of TomoTherapy process. It will cover the following:

    1. Introduction to helical tomotherapy
    2. Clinical cases will be reviewed
    3. Technical Aspects: TomoTherapy vs other IMRT techniques
    4. Step-by-step TomoTherapy Planning Process
    5. Step-by-step patient-specific QA procedures for TomoTherapy plans

Target Audience

This workshop is aimed at radiation oncologists, radiation physicists and radiation therapists interested in the TomoTherapy technique. Basic knowledge of radiation oncology and radiation physics is a prerequisite. Experience in IMRT planning and treatment will be an asset.

Note: Limited number of participants will be taken for this practical workshop. Priority selection criteria will be followed (matching needs of clinics and first come first serve basis).
