Course/Track Description: A practical course on treatment planning. 

Who Should Participate: Medical Physicist, dosimetrists, radiation oncologists and radiation therapists

Learning Objectives:

    • Knowing how the planning systems works
    • Learning the various parameters of optimization used in regular IMRT and in VMAT
    • Discussing the pros and cons of FFF beams
    • Small beam dosimetry
    • Practical hands-on workshops on contouring (head and neck example), VMAT, Tomotherapy and Cyberknife
    • Special treatment techniques (Cyberknife, Tomotherapy, and Gamma Knife) will be discussed in details including didactic lectures and hands on workshops.
