Sacramento, California, USADr. Bushberg is the Chairman of the Board and Senior Vice-President of the United States National Council on Radiation Protection and Measurements (NCRP), and Associate Chair and Clinical Professor of Radiology as well as Clinical Professor of Radiation Oncology, University of California (UC) Davis School of Medicine. He is an expert in radiation protection, medical physics and the biological effects and safety of ionizing and nonionizing radiation. With over 35 years of experience he has served as a subject matter expert and an advisor to government agencies and institutions throughout the nation and around the world on the biological effects of ionizing and nonionizing radiation exposure, radiation protection and radiological emergency medical response and holds multiple radiation detection technology patents. Dr. Bushberg is an elected fellow of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine and the Health Physics Society. He is certified by several national professional boards with specific subspecialty certification in radiation protection and medical physics and currently serves as a Director and Vice-Chair of the American Board of Medical Physics. Dr. Bushberg was awarded the Warren K. Sinclair Medal for Excellence in Radiation Science by NCRP in 2014. Prior to coming to the UC Davis Health System as technical director of Nuclear Medicine, Dr. Bushberg was on the faculty of Yale University School of Medicine department of Radiology where his research was focused on radiopharmaceutical development. Dr. Bushberg has responsibility for medical postgraduate education in medical physics, radiation (ionizing and nonionizing) protection, and radiation biology. The third edition of the textbook "The Essential Physics of Medical Imaging," authored by Bushberg, Seibert, Leidholdt, and Boone, is used extensively by radiology residency programs throughout the United States.

Basel, SwitzerlandMartin Röösli is Professor for Environmental Epidemiology at the Swiss Tropical- and Public Health Institute in Basel and leads the Environmental Exposures and Health Unit. He is also co-chair of the Joint South African and Swiss Chair in Global Environmental Health. He has a background in atmospheric physics and a PhD in environmental epidemiology. His research focuses on various environmental health topics including ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, transportation noise, climate change, pesticides, passive smoking and ambient air pollution. He is conducting exposure assessment studies, aetiological research and health impact assessments. In the field of non-ionizing radiation he conducted several exposure assessment and epidemiological studies on the health effects of electromagnetic fields including population based studies dealing with cancer (CEFALO, ARIMMORA), neurodegenerative diseases (Swiss National Cohort) and health related quality of life (QUALIFEX, HERMES, GERoNiMO) and an occupational study of railway workers. He is a member in various national and international commissions on environmental health risks including BERENIS (Swiss Expert Group on Non-Ionising Radiation), ICNIRP (International Commission for Non-ionizing Radiation Protection), advisory group of COSMOS and the Scientific Council of the International Agency for Research on Cancer IARC. Martin Röösli has been member of the scientific council of the European Bioelectromagnetics Association EBEA between 2009 and 2017. He has published numerous scientific papers, reviews and book chapters.

This programme covers the public health aspects of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation safety. She is responsible, inter alia, for the WHO International EMF Project which provides information on the health impact of EMF exposure and guidance to national authorities on radiation protection programmes. Before joining WHO, she was a professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto, Canada. She holds a PhD from the University of Michigan, USA and received an honorary doctorate (doctor honoris causa) from the University of San Marcos, Lima, Peru in 2014.

He is the Medical Director of 3D Printing at The Ottawa Hospital and Associate Editor of the journal 3D Printing in Medicine. In addition, Dr. Sheikh is the Director of Advanced Musculoskeletal interventions and Section head and fellowship Director of Emergency radiology at the Ottawa Hospital. Dr. Sheikh received his medical school and radiology specialist training from India and completed fellowships in Musculoskeletal imaging and Emergency Trauma imaging from the University of British Columbia before coming on staff at The Ottawa Hospital in 2005. His clinical interests are personalized patient specific 3D printing, Marrow imaging, functional musculoskeletal imaging, Bone and Soft tissue tumor imaging, MSK intervention and Emergency/Trauma imaging. Dr. Sheikh is actively involved in multimodality imaging based multidisciplinary research projects in collaboration with researchers from the Division of Orthopedic Surgery and Department of Physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Ottawa University. He is the Radiology Lead for The Marrow study on astronauts at the International Space agency, sponsored by Canada Space agency and NASA. Dr Sheikh has been recently elected as the treasurer of the RSNA 3D printing Special interest group.

Halifax, CanadaDr. James Robar is the Chief of Medical Physics at the Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA), Professor of Radiation Oncology at Dalhousie University and Founding Director of MSc, PhD and Certificate programs in Medical Physics at Dalhousie University. Dr. Robar completed his Doctorate in Medical Physics at the University of British Columbia in 2000, Residency at the British Columbia Cancer Agency in 2002 and was recruited as a staff medical physicist in Halifax, in 2003. Dr. Robar brings 14 years of experience as a Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine-certified clinical medical physicist. He divides his time between a leadership role at NSHA where he directs a staff of 24, direct support of patient treatment with an interest in stereotactic radiotherapy and radiosurgery, and research and development, with a focus on cutting-edge technologies that improve the lives of cancer patients. Dr. Robar believes that academic-industry partnerships form an essential conduit in allowing new technologies to benefit patients around the world. To this end he has been a co-founder of Canadian spinoff companies and presently is engaged in product development and launch at Halifax-based 3Dbolus. Dr. Robar is dedicated to the promotion and assurance of safety and quality in radiation oncology and radiosurgery, serving as an expert in the Novalis Certified Program, which conducts audits of radiosurgery programs worldwide. A champion of quality education in medical physics, he is Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Educational Programs (CAMPEP) and, in 2014-15 at Dalhousie University, established the first and only accredited graduate programs in medical physics in Atlantic Canada. He lives in Halifax with his wife, Fiona, is the father of Finn and Keira and enjoys sailing, cycling, longboarding, ocean fishing, skiing and playing live Blues in his free time.

Paris, FranceIn 1986 I completed my medical studies at the University of Antwerp, Belgium. I was trained as a radiation oncologist at the Middelheim and Vincentius Hospitals in Antwerp. In 1991 I started as a radiation oncologist in Tilburg, The Netherlands. After chairing for 2.5 years the department of radiation oncology of the Radboud umc, Nijmegen, I took the same position at Institut Curie, Paris, France, in March 2017. Since 1992 active in the EORTC, currently member of the Radiation Oncology (secretary 2006 – 2015), Lymphoma and Breast Groups; Quality Assurance Committee of the EORTC (2003 – 2015). In 2005: PhD thesis on quality assurance in clinical trials in breast cancer at the University of Maastricht. 2005 – 2008: councillor of the board of ESTRO. 2007 – 2010: representative for radiation oncology in the Multidisciplinary Oncology Committee of ESMO. 2011 and 2012 nominated as “Toparts” (Outstanding doctor) by the Dutch radiation oncologists. 2012: “Technical Basis of Radiation Therapy. Practical Clinical Implications (Springer); co-edited with Levitt, Purdy and Perez. 2013 – 2014: President-Elect, 2014 – 2016 President and 2016 – 2018 Past-President of ESTRO. 2016 – 2017: Chair of the ECCO Oncopolicy Committee. 2017: President-Elect, 2018 – 2019 President and 2020 Past-President of ECCO.
Special interests: breast cancer, quality assurance in clinical trials, malignant lymphoma and rare tumours.
