The course/workshop will cover the Fundamentals of dosimetry with particular emphasis on radioembolization, targeted alpha particle therapy, and PRRT.
On the clinical side, the morning session will focus on an update on the role of theranostics in Prostate Carcinoma. Then the afternoon session will discuss new tools in the molecular imaging of breast carcinoma, including the new FDA-approved Estrogen receptor-targeted imaging.

The course will provide a general overview of recent advances in radiation oncology.
The topics will cover the technical and clinical aspects of IORT, Electron FLASH RT, brachytherapy, RT planning process automation using scripting and artificial intelligence-based segmentation, MR-based planning, and MR-linac.
TARGET GROUP: The target audience is radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, and radiation therapists.
PREREQUISITE: Basic knowledge of radiation oncology and medical physics.

This platform provides the key knowledge of radiation protection, radiobiology, bio-dosimetry, emergency preparedness and laboratory safety. Topics will be presented by recognized experts in various disciplines including diagnostic radiology, radiotherapy, nuclear medicine, research and diagnostic laboratories. Safety standards and radiological emergencies in cases of inadvertent, malicious or nuclear accidents will be discussed as part of national preparedness plans.
