Courses & Workshops Description:
The course will introduce the concept of 3DP and its current technological applications in the field of medicine. The medical 3DP workflow in clinical settings and also the importance of image quality (CT & MR) as the raw data needed for segmentation. To introduce 3D Gel Dosimetry as a 3D Patient Specific QA Tool for radiotherapy application.
The workshop will also introduce the virtual reality (VR) as a tool for medical 3D patient visualization.
Learning Objectives:
Attendees are expected to:
- Learn the basics of 3DP and the current available technologies
- Understand the workflow of 3DP under clinical settings
- Define the imaging parameters required to optimize the segmentation outcomes
- Be introduced to the Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) and how it can be used in M3D
