Dr. Stern, specializing in Thoracic Imaging, is a Professor of Radiology, Medicine, Medical Education, and Global Health, and Vice-Chairman of Academic Affairs in the Department of Radiology at the University of Washington, in Seattle.
He is the author of over 100 papers as well as seven textbooks on Chest Radiology.
Dr. Stern, founding President of the AUR Alliance of Clinician-Educators in Radiology, is the former Editor-in Chief of the journal Current Problems in Diagnostic Radiology, former Deputy Editor of the AJR, and the founding and current Editor in Chief of GO RAD, a global outreach journal of the International Society of Radiology.
Among his many other roles, Dr. Stern is Past-President of the Society of Thoracic Radiology, President of the Washington State Radiology Society, ACR Council Steering Committee member, and Chair of the International Commission on Radiology Education. |
