Workshop Description:
Idiopathic Interstitial Pneumonias are a group of diffuse lung diseases characterized by inflammation and a propensity for fibrosis. IIP have various clinical presentation, prognosis and outcome. Multidisciplinary approach is often needed for diagnosis and management.
We will demonstrate various types of Idiopathic Interstitial pneumonia (IIP) on Computed Tomography (CT) and their imaging features. Review types or imaging features that necessitate further work up including surgical biopsy.
Learning Objectives:
To learn the CT features of various types of IIP and their imaging features on CT
To review CT features of common mimickers of IIP
